Best Covid-19 Management & Response in Africa
In August 2020, lancet COVID-19 Commission data ranked Uganda as the best country in Africa in terms of suppressing the COVID-19 pandemic. Uganda was ranked 10th out of 91 countries analyzed globally.

Apply for an Investment License
Both foreign and domestic companies qualify for an investment license if they meet the threshold. Foreign investors must have a capital investment that exceeds US$ 250,000 and US$ 50,000 for domestic companies.
Application for an Investment License from the Uganda Investment Authority are fully automated and submitted online. After all required documentation is submitted and satisfactory, the license is issued within 48 hours at no cost.
