The East and Central African Cities Development Forum meeting

The East and Central African Cities Development Forum (ECAC-DEF) was proposed as a regional platform to spearhead the development of the regional action framework, identifying and implementing key strategic priorities in East and Central Africa. This forum will provide an opportunity for learning from another and developing a program of action to address the major urbanization challenges in the East and Central African cities.

This comes as an opportunity for Uganda to show case its investment opportunities because many city representatives will be flopping in to discuss and share ideas on the different affected sectors that need a lot of effort to improve therefore, Uganda Investment Authority will be required as a critical player in driving investment into the country.

Eng. Dr. Frank Sebbowa welcomed the idea of Uganda hosting all the East and Central African countries right from Egypt down to Zimbabwe as it will be a great opportunity to promote Uganda as the best investment destination in Africa
