Uganda Investment Authority (UIA) hosted a delegation from the Turkish Industrialists Businesswomen and Businessmen Confederation (SANKON). The delegation, led by the President of SANKON, Mrs. Nezaket Emine Atasoy, was on a business fact finding mission.
Mrs. Atasoy expressed the Confederation’s interest to have a Memorandum of Understanding between UIA and SANKON, which she said has contacts in Africa, Middle East and Asia. According to the delegation, SANKON is engaged in the import and export of Agricultural Machinery and has companies that carry out construction of both public (Railways and Dams) and Private (Buildings) Infrastructure. The confederation is also in a position to fund projects through the Exim Bank of Morroco with loan duration of 30 years.
Mrs. Nezaket Emine Atasoy, a celebrity who has received 22 Medals and recognition by the King of Jordan, presented a SANKON plaque to Mr. Ogwang as a sign of collaboration with UIA.
