Uganda Investment Authority (UIA) has organized a half day Business Sensitization Forum to be held on 6th November at Piato restaurant on Lumumba Avenue starting 7.00am.
The Breakfast forum will be attended by the Investors that have been licensed in the first Quarter of this Financial Year and the Government Agencies that form the One Stop Centre under the UIA.
The One Stop Centre has of recent increased the number of government agencies from twelve to fourteen and each of them will make a presentation on investment facilitation.
These include UMEME, NWSC, Directorate of Citizenship and Immigration Control, Diamond Trust Bank, URSB, Ministry of Lands, UNBS, URA, KCCA, NEMA, UFZA, and the Giants Club.
The Investors will share their experiences and challenges with regard to project implementation while Government Agencies will share business information for the easing of investor’s project implementation and UIA Aftercare Services.
The objective of the forum is to ensure the challenges are identified, followed up and addressed. The media has been invited to cover the event. ings();ret
